James's Biography

James began his career in music television over 10 years ago, producing and directing music documentaries and shows for MTV Europe. His passion and interest in the live music platform drove him to specialise in live performances, where he has developed creative ideas for multi camera filming, lighting and post-production.

Over the years James has worked with a diverse portfolio of artists including Stereophonics, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, James Blunt, Kasabian, Corinne Bailey Rae, Scissor Sisters, Snow Patrol, Flaming Lips, Wolfmother, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Kaiser Chiefs, Paolo Nutini and Editors.

As an avid gig-goer, James ensures he is fully up to speed with all developments in the music industry. His connection with live music is evident in both his adventurous approach to filming and his ability to translate the raw performance to screen.

James’ talent has earned him praise from some of the hottest British talent and Best Live DVD nominations at the 2006 Vodafone Live Music Awards and the 2007 NME Awards for his work with Maximo Park.

Whether shooting intimate gigs, arena shows or legendary festival performances, James continues to push the boundaries of style and innovation, allowing an audience to truly feel part of the live music experience.
